Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors
Okay, here is some musing. Last night I finished ' Alan Wake 2 ', and apart from the fact that it's a wonderful game, it's also a love letter from the developer to their country of origin, Finland. Finnish culture was integrated into the story in a very natural way and never felt out of place. Now I've started ' The Invincible ' from Polish developers , which is based on a StanisÅ‚aw Lem book, and I'm enjoying myself as well. But it has raised a question in my mind: how come the most famous game from Ukrainian developers, 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.', and its upcoming sequel , are based on a russian novel? The second best game, in my humble opinion, ' Metro ', has the same issue. What. The. Fuck. Maybe one day we can see Ukrainian StarField based on “ The Colony ” by Max Kidruk or “ Zoryanij Corsar ” by Oles Berdnyk. Or maybe survival horror based on Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors .
